On January 2018 the senior members of the Distributed Systems Group decided to create two student awards to promote research excellence in the group. The first award is given to the PhD student who the jury consideres to have done the best research during the year. The second award is given to the MSc student who the jury considered to have done the best dissertation concluded in the year.
